I will get a target gift card for Maria.
I'll get a Costco card for Karen. I have some beautiful 24month and 2t sweaters that my son has outgrown; would those work for Melissa?
I can get three Safeway gift cards, one for each family.
I will get three large baskets; either wicker or plastic for each of the three families. At least, we can put some of the more basic household items in the baskets. I will make a soup "kit" for each of the three families. I will put a bar of soap and paper towels in each basket along with the canning jar of soup mix.
I will also include a hand-knitted scarf for the single mom with the one child.

I picked up several forks and spoons for Anna. I have a bar of soap in each basket. I also picked up a box of 4-5T pull-ups. If I have time, I will pick up another box of 4T pull-ups.
what's the deadline? I have a Cheeky Monkey gift card with some $ left on it; also, would a Savers gift card be useful for any of these families? I think they do that?
